Mostly, these were just the victim of extreme wear, but also needed the baffle plates removed and rusted out pop rivets replaced for reliable function.

Not being the owner of a tabbed back Leslie, could you explain what function the pop rivets perform, and why they were installed in the first place, presumably instead of a machine screw?

The pop rivets are a cheap and quick way to re-install the baffle plate - but not the best way. Standard machine screws are not good because the head sticks up too high and can foul the back of the diaphragm disk in operation
