"1954 Leslie A-200-156, otherwise known simply as an A-200. This represents two significant firsts in my collection, the first A-200 that I have had, and the first confirmed ex Milwaukee Road horn. This can be traced to NRE in the mid 1970's, where the original owner was told that it was removed from a Milwaukee Road Fairbanks Morse switcher. A bit of digging shows that Milwaukee received an order of H-16-44's in 1954. The A-200 was once the most common locomotive horn in the late 1940's and 1950's, being THE voice of railroading during that time."
