BAF Stamp on Leslie 44 Bell

"Anyone know what a BAF (Boose Aluminium Foundries) stamp on a #44 bell of a Leslie RS3L would indicate? Thanks"

(comments)

MM: "They're common as dirt. So the answer is "no" they are no more desirable or rare than an unmarked bell"
BM: "I'd almost be willing to say that the non BAF bells are more desirable hahaha! You always see the BAF stamped Leslie's from the 80s and 90s. Every RS3L I've owned had them."
MF: "BAF 44 bells are pretty common, in use from about mid 1970's to late 1990's. Can help date a horn, or indicate that it's a parts build not original. For example it's a big red flag when an eBay seller tries to push a bronze tab 3L as all original but it has a BAF 44 on it."
