When is a K5H not a K5H?

"I have a K5H, which I want to convert to the Canadian version K5H, that was used by BC Rail. I originally had a real BC Rail K5H from one of the big MLWs, but it was stolen. Looking for someone who might have a Canadian bell for sale or trade."

MF: "If you have a K5H then no conversion is needed, that is what BCR used."
JB: "which bells should the K5H have? I believe our former CMO changed at least one bell on my K5H."
MF: "If its not 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 its not a K5H. ALSO, if the #4 says AIRCHIME in raised letters on the side of the bell next to the number, it is bored out the same as a 4A."
JB: "is the 4a bell correct for BC Rail, or just the plain 4?"
MF: "Plain 4, 4A goes on the K5LA. Plain 3 as well, should not have A stamps on the 3 or 4."
NSJ: "The BC had tbeir horns often set as all bells forward when mounted on the top front of their MLW locies. I miss those green locomotives. The old PGE also used ABF horns, except a few H145R23 models."
