Beautiful work, Nick. This goes to show you how much railroad paint may be hiding underneath years of grime! Love that the Conrail blue shows through under the CSX YN3 in spots, which surely is relatively rare across the pond. 8-)

Well, to show how rare, the guys at the Leslie Partner company here in the UK (STS) were completely unaware such horns even existed, when I contacted them to ask for a price on new diaphragms and gaskets. It is even possible that this is the only RS-3 in the UK, as the only mainstream supplier of horns to our trains and locomotives is Airchime, and they are only the KS1 and KS2 singly to produce a two-tone horn.
Which makes my hobby of chime horns a) very expensive and b) very difficult, as I can only buy them through collectors.
A chime collector in a land of two-tone horns...
