K3LA Project

I was able to acquire a K5L manifold off eBay and I have the necessary parts and bells to make a K3LA (hoping to turn it into a K5LA soon). I've been busy with other things, including searching for a job, so the project has been progressing slowly. My #1 bell was ordered as a complete KS1 single chime, but it's in pretty rough shape, and I've been having a hard time getting it off of its manifold. I tried to touch up on my #2 bell, but it didn't work at all, so I'm out of ideas in terms of restoring the #1. The 4A is already in decent shape. I tried to follow the steps in this video:
