I really doubt it would work, but maybe try it once to see if you get any sound at all, maybe you could make something similar work with a bigger pump.

I found a few grover horns at a truck place, got 2 for $25. That's 2 for 1/10 of the price of one brand new. Maybe you would be lucky and find some airchimes or grover stuff near you.

I would suggest posting this on the Train horns and whistles facebook group, as it is much more active and I'm sure some people can help you out, since I'm only familiar with train horns. I would also try antique railroad collectables group.

Yes, you could list them here. I would suggest seeing what those items sell for on other sites before selling them, just so you don't accept a lowball. I would not go off ebay prices since they are almost always overpriced.
