I have 2 double spring GW valves, and was wondering if the single or double spring valves are better for quilling. My guess is the double spring because it has more resistance. Thanks!

I Would say 99.9 of crossings are activated via the wheels closing a circuit, but some are manually operated in museums. Sometimes, they come at their disadvantages though. In this video, the switch was very close to the crossing, so the crossing didn’t activate until the train went over the switch....

I have been studying bells for more than a year now, so i'm fairly confident that I can answer almost any question about crossing bells. If you have any, Just post them here!

This video shows that Mexican railroad crossings need WAY better infrastructure. This crossing in an intersection has only a few crossbucks! Or they just need to put 5/16 M5s on all the locomotives...
