More MelodyChime Prototyping

Well then, After sorting some crazy things out in my life. And doing some unexpected things with myself, I'm still spending crazy amounts of money for developing Project Matilda, The hopefully first multi-chime horn revision from the 60+ year old standard air horn design that's used these days that ...

Re: Facebook scam seller

Sounds about right for the degeneracy on FB, that's why I deleted my account. I may make some more throw away alt accounts to stalk the TH&W group. I have done many sketchy deals in the past from horn sellers all over the world. That's how I bought Maddie's Stratahorn 660 before it selling to her. T...

Information About Stolen Horns

Hi all, I put together a lot of information together over time on what I found out the deal is with stolen horns. Heres a disclaimer, stealing locomotive horns from trains or anywhere is literally a Class A felony and can lead up to 10 years in jail, if anyone hasn't known already. Alright heres som...

Aftermarket Leslie Powerchambers

Hi all, I decided for one of my next project, to make aftermarket Leslie power chambers that don't take a giant dumps on their selves after being used for awhile. The reason I'm coming up with this idea is me thinking the simpler the better. no silicone ring no extra parts, no machining, no breaking...

Re: Hornblasters announcing they have acquired Leslie horns

This is the most terrible thing I've ever heard... I know that it would be nice and all to own the Leslie horn division, but leslie horns are designed just horribly... a terrible decision on Matthews part. I'm currently developing a prototype locomotive horn for my own purposes to replace the junkie...

Calculations for bell frequencies / notes?

Hey Everyone, I heard that there was a math formula to calculate the shape of a horn bell flare to play a specific note or frequency. I also do recall hearing that Swanson had a formula to make early K bells play a specific note without having to machine a bore where the nozzle is. I need as much in...

Airchime Horn Prices (From The Factory)

I also saved this from the old board.
Please note, that it says a brand new K5LA is around $800.00. Let's keep it that way, and not pay $1500.00 for one.

Hello Everyone, I am determined to start my own business in the horn industry after I graduate high school this year. I will be offering horn products for the automotive, locomotive, and marine industry, hopefully starting in the next 3 years. I am mainly starting off with the prototyping phase (Pha...
