Re: Are scrap dealers a good source for horns?
Well, an update on the situation. It's been a good few months now and I have heard all of nothing back from the two places I contacted. I don't think its going to go well for me on this front. Kind of a shame tho.

Are scrap dealers a good source for horns?
I've been mulling over this and I probably already know the answer. Yet, the question still stands within my mind: are scrap dealers a good source to try and 'save' a horn? Or am I more likely to get shot down and rejected, being labeled as a 'foamer' without a second thought? Any inputs on the idea?

Requesting a recording
Hello again! So the other day, a friend and I were looking through some horn sounds for him to use on a project that he's working on when we stumbled across a P5 recording. Now, from what little my ear has musically trained, I believed it to be a mixed cast using bells 1N, 2N, 3O, 4, 5N with the not...

Re: More MelodyChime Prototyping
This sounds like a really cool project idea. If I may ask, musically speaking, what notes are you going to compose your chords with? I like to try and figure chords out and listen to them in action either in person or by the keys of my keyboard. Hope to see more from this tho! If you can come up wi...

My Newcast P5 (also my introduction)
Don't know if this thread is really the place to make an introduction, but here we go. I stumbled across this forum while trying to answer a horn question for a friend, and over the past few days of being on here, I have decided that now is better than never for 'strutting my stuff'. Now, I've alway...
